Big Sean-High Ft. Wiz Khalifa and Chiddy Bang

Here’s a new joint off of Big Sean’s album Finally Famous due out in a couple weeks. Did this album leak or something? It seems like there have been a ton more songs from the album the last couple days, so I really don’t know. It’s not like albums leak early all the time. Anyway, like I’ve said before, this album may actually be worth copping as almost every song has seemed solid.

This is my favorite track off the album as of right now; I’m a big Chiddy Bang fan and with Chidera on the track and Xaphoon Jones on the production, you just expect it’s going to be a good song. BS keeps his high-low flow going with some nice lyrics and we are even graced with the rare occasion of Wiz Khalifa not fucking up a track he’s been featured on.

But let’s be honest, who else are you going to feature on a song titled “High?” Of course you’re going to put Wiz on that track regardless of everything. Song is 4:20 long too. I’ll just chalk it up as coincidence.

Big Sean-Marvin Gaye and Chardonnay Ft. Kanye West & Roscoe Dash

Probably the most anticipated track off of Big Sean’s Finally Famous album due out on June 28th. Crazy that this isn’t even the first song I’ve posted with a title reference to Marvin Gaye. BS works with the world famous Yeezy and a dude that feels the need to spell out auto-tune his first name on every track he’s on; Roscoe isn’t even a tough name, it sounds like some nerdy kid I knew back from elementary school. Ugh, whatever.

I don’t know what to think. Obviously, the album has potential to be one of the best ones of the year with all the featured artists, hype, etc, but I was feeling a little underwhelmed by this song. Definitely kind of a funny track and it does have a catchy beat, but I just felt I wasn’t as into it as I was expecting. Maybe kick Roscoe’s ass off the track or something, but if this is supposed to be the best track on the album I might be staying home on it and getting something else. Maybe some of that dope new Clay Aiken. I kid.

Sorry, all the soundcloud streams are the clean version. Download below has all the bad words that we like to hear.

Big Sean-So Much More

I first heard of Big Sean when he did a couple tracks with Mike Posner back a couple years ago. Haven’t been the biggest fan of all his music, but this is definitely worth posting. From his Almost Famous album dropping June 28th. For the record, the album seems like it’s going to be pretty nice with some big name featured artists.

The one quality that Big Sean has always had that almost no one else has is his unique flow where he goes from normal pitch to a high pitch. Plenty of that in this song. Pretty soulful beat that works well with the lyrics. Reminds me of some old Kanye, and you all know how much I love that shit. There isn’t “So Much More” to be desired from the track; it’s dope.
